Parliamentary State Secretary Dr Gerd Müller enthusiastic about innovations from Fendt
Dr Gerd Müller, Parliamentary State Secretary from the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection, had a personal look at the innovations that Fendt presented at the Agritechnica. During a tour of the stand with Peter-Josef Paffen, Spokesman of the Fendt Management Board and Roland Schmidt, Fendt Marketing Director, Müller had a chance to examine the SCR technology in the new 800 Vario in detail.

Müller was especially interested in the technical solution that Fendt chose to meet the requirements of emissions standard 3b: the SCR technology. This exhaust after-treatment not only significantly reduces emissions and particulate matter, but it also lowers fuel consumption. “Environmental protection, in particular, is currently an important political issue. I am pleased that leading cost-effectiveness and environmental protection go hand in hand at Fendt,” said Müller. The new 800 Vario is already fitted with this technology today. All the other ranges will also be fitted with SCR in the near future.

The tour concluded with the golden 200 Vario, which represents the Fendt slogan “100,000 Vario - 100 percent Vario”. Müller was impressed by the new Fendt products, which feature high-tech solutions for easy operation and the best driving comfort. “I am proud that Fendt, headquartered in Marktoberdorf – not far from my home town of Krumbach in Swabia – is recognised as the innovations leader in the industry and has proven this once again here in Hanover,” said Müller.
