Agricultural equipment trade fair in Norway – Fendt receives three medals

The Fendt Team received three medals at the the Agroteknikk agricultural equipment show in Norway. A high-level jury gave the new 800 Vario, the new 200 Vario and the 200 Vario V/F/P specialty tractor range medals.

The new 800 Vario range received a gold medal, i.e. three ears of grain. The main reason for the jury's decision was the cutting-edge engine technology that is fitted in this series. The 800 Vario with SCR technology already complies with emissions standard Stage 3B/Tier 4 interim one year before it becomes legally effective. Other decisive factors for the award were the new electronics concept, Fendt Variotronic and Fendt Stability Control.

The jury awarded the 200 Vario V/F/P specialty tractor range, launched in February, a silver medal, i.e. two ears of grain. With this tractor, the first and only specialty tractor on the market with a continuously variable transmission, Fendt opens a new era in this sector. A further argument for the jury was that the tractor is also fitted with many technological features that have only been found in bigger tractors until now.

In the newly launched 200 Vario, the jury was above all convinced by the comfort cab, which has been specifically designed for the range and features, among other things, a flat cab floor. Moreover, the 200 Vario is the first and only standard tractor in the power segment from 70 to 110 hp with a continuously variable transmission.
