Fendt receives three awards in Spain

Fendt received three awards at the most important Spanish agricultural equipment exhibition, the FIMA, at the beginning of February of this year. The 200 Vario V/F/P specialty tractor range was given the award for its outstanding technical advancements and convincing ergonomics. The 800 Vario range even received two awards: for the AdBlue engine technology and the new generation Fendt Variotronic electronics.

Fendt continues to collect awards for these products, which were launched at the Agritechnica. The Fendt 200 Vario V/F/P range received an award in the category “NOVEDAD TÉCNICA” (technical innovations) at the FIMA 2010 in Zaragoza. The deciding factors were the optimum profitability of the tractors, combined with outstanding ergonomics and easy, comfortable operation. A key factor for the jury was that this Fendt tractor range is the first and only tractor range to offer a continuously variable transmission in this power segment.

The new Fendt 800 Vario range also received an award in the category ““NOVEDAD TÉCNICA”. The jury gave one award for the implementation of SCR technology (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and another for the new Variotronic electronics system. The deciding factors for awarding the cutting-edge engine technology were the environmental aspects as well as the significant reduction in fuel consumption.

The overall design concept of the Fendt-developed electronics, the Fendt Variotronic, also convinced the jury. For the first time, it is possible to operate the tractor controls, ISO bus implement control, VarioGuide automatic steering and VarioDoc documentation from the terminal, all using the same operating logic.
