The Agritechnica 2009 opens its gates

On Sunday, 8 November, punctually at 9.00 am, the Agritechnica opened its gates and the first visitors streamed into the halls. Over 2,300 exhibitors are displaying their most important innovations this year at the world's largest agricultural machinery exhibition. Among other innovations, Fendt is presenting the new 200 Vario, the 800 Vario with the Variotronic electronics, and the Fendt hybrid combine.

“According to the German Agricultural Society (DLG), the advance sales were excellent and we are expecting more than 300,000 visitors. And as every year, each visitor will visit Fendt at least once,” said Peter-Josef Paffen, Spokesman for the Fendt Management Board. The Agritechnica is not only the most important exhibition for Fendt, but also a mood barometer for the industry trend. Paffen: “We will present great innovations and solutions to aid farmers in increasing the efficiency and profitability of their farms. In the current difficult market environment, we are the right partner for our customers. We are looking forward to this great exhibition.”
