Europe's largest open-air exhibition for the green industry opened its gates for the sixth time from 21 to 23 June. Fendt presented its complete line-up for IRE (intelligent solutions for industry, road and environment) there and welcomed numerous interested visitors to the stand and the demonstration area.

 

This year, Fendt expanded its exhibition area at the demopark by 60 percent. That clearly indicates that Fendt will intensify its activities in the area of IRE. Fendt presented a total of 24 Vario tractors on the demopark grounds in different areas of applications: mowing and maintenance, brush and forests, winter maintenance as well as construction and transport. The benefits of Vario tractors for IRE were highlighted during machine demonstrations. Ranging from 70 to 360 hp, they offer outstanding profitability through maximum versatility, low fuel consumption and long servicing intervals. For applications in forest and brush, for example, Fendt showed a Vario 936 in operation with a wood chopper and demonstrated the enormous chopping capacity of this combination: up to 120 m³ per hour.

A special highlight, of course, was the presentation of the new specialty tractor range, the 200 Vario V/F/P. A 200 Vario tractor, a vehicle body model and a cab from the new range as well as a model of the Vario transmission were set-up in the Fendt information marquis for visitors to inform themselves about the new range. On the open-air ground, three different versions of the V/F and P were shown with various implements. Visitors were able to test drive the 200 Vario on a test course, which was well-visited despite the rain.
