Press releases
Fendt is regarded the innovation and technology leader in many areas. The focus of all developments from Fendt is efficiency. The aim is to offer customers products with which they can consistently lower their operating and overall costs. Starting with the new 800 Vario and 900 Vario model ranges, which are equipped with the fuel-saving SCR technology, Fendt introduces the new term “Fendt Efficient Technology”. All the technology that makes Fendt products so efficient are united under this term. Fendt Efficient Technology is divided into 4 areas: the Philosophy, the Innovations, the Customer Benefit and the Benefit for the Environment.
The Philosophy
The Philosophy behind Fendt Efficient Technology is: More from Less. Fendt offers products with which customers can achieve more with less use of resources, such as time, fuel or inputs. The overall profitability of a vehicle is the central factor and basis for all decisions in enterprise-oriented farming. With its products, Fendt offers the ideal solution to keep down costs per hectare, or respectively per operating hour.
The Innovations
The Innovations, which Fendt brings onto the market year after year, are the basis for the outstanding efficiency of the entire Fendt product line. Particularly noteworthy is the latest innovation, the SCR technology for tractors in the new 800 and 900 Vario ranges. This technology allows Fendt to comply with emissions standard Stage IIIB (Tier IV interim) while optimising fuel efficiency. Further ground-breaking innovations are the anti-lock braking system (ABS), the tyre pressure regulation system, a top speed of 60 km/h and the Fendt Variotronic with the VarioGuide automatic steering system and the VarioDoc documentation system.
The Customer Benefits
Customer Benefits have the highest priority at Fendt. Fendt not only concentrates on fuel-saving concepts, but also focuses on essentials like comfort, safety, performance or driving pleasure.
Benefits for the Environment
Benefits for the Environment is the fourth building block of Fendt Efficient Technology. Fendt also holds itself responsible for the environment, after all, it is the basis for agricultural work. With the SCR technology, for example, Fendt succeeds in significantly reducing emissions of particulate matter and CO2. Other examples are the high production standards during the manufacturing process of Fendt products as well as the reduction of overlapping through the VarioGuide automatic steering system.
The big Fendt Field Day in Wadenbrunn is the official start for the Fendt Efficient Technology campaign. The motto of the Field Day is accordingly: “The path to maximum efficiency leads through Wadenbrunn”. From this day onwards, customers will not only come across Fendt Efficient Technology in all print and electronic media, but also, for example, in Wadenbrunn with the first Fendt Efficient Energy Drink.
